The Shantys

Classic Irish Pub Band Covering A Range Of Irish Music

The Shantys Logo

The Shantys are built in the style of a  classic Irish Pub band with a core group of  musicians that have been playing together  since 2001.  They are a five piece band  comprised of guitar, bass, mandolin, tin  whistles, and drums, all accompanied by  strong vocals.  The Shantys cover a range of  Irish music including The Clancy Brothers,  The Wolf Tones, The Pogues, The Saw  Doctors, and Flogging Molly.

This band has accumulated over a decade of professional experience performing at numerous festivals, pubs, casinos, AOH halls, Irish community benefits, parades, and corporate events.  The Shantys have been the featured band for both the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Flyers on numerous occasions.  They have provided opening support for Albannach and Black 47 on the main stage of Boston's Irish Festival and have also participated in both Mercer County's Irish Festival and North Wildwood's Irish Festival.
