Cody Alushin
Cody Alushin is a singing, songwriting musician with over 15 years of professional performing experience and a lifetime of musical appreciation. Beginning his musical obsession thanks to his music-loving parents, he began studying piano and performing in recitals and shopping malls at age 5. A guitar program in his local church led by The Clarks’ guitarist encouraged his persuit of the instrument and finding his voice shortly after, there has not been a year since that Cody hasn’t been on stages of various sizes, performing and perfecting his craft. With a pre existing upbringing of all things classic rock mixed with his love of folk, indie and hard rock, Cody delivers a broad array of material, all performed from a place of authenticity, genuinely caring about the music and it’s sentiment.
Cody simply seeks to make others feel good with his upbeat, eclectic group of covers spanning from the early 60s to today’s notable hits. Pulling from his vast influences, Cody blends wild and powerful late 70s vocal stylings with honest acoustic sounds that are both impressive and interesting, using looping effects to solo and improvise where he feels called. The mix of familiar tunes with unique arrangements ensures listeners are happy and entertained while Cody focuses on sharing the power of music.
