CORINNA JOY

Corinna is an independent singer-songwriter from Hershey, Pennsylvania. She got her start by playing keyboards and singing with her worship team, where she got to try out her chops as a songwriter as well as a musician. Cori has been involved in choirs and musicals throughout high school and into her adult life. She is currently a member of the singing group Voices of the Valley and has been seen onstage playing roles such as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family Musical and Judy Haynes in White Christmas. She has also served as musical director and assistant choreographer for musicals at a number of school districts.

Her set list includes an eclectic mix of jazz standards, alternative rock, and contemporary singer/songwriter tunes, including many of her own originals. Because of her background in theater, much of Cori's original music has a distinctly musical-theater flair, until more recently, when she started craving the more mellowed out style of artists like Ingrid Michaelson. In addition, after joining The Cocoa Avenue Blues Band as a keyboardist and vocalist and getting to experiment with a range of styles, her style has taken on a jazzier edge. Her debut EP Uneven Love is now available via your favorite online retailer.
