Wayne Thompson
Wayne Thompson is a highly experienced guitarist and performer with a music career spanning decades. Since starting guitar at age 9 and going full-time at 22, he has played thousands of shows across Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, and North Carolina. Wayne has been part of numerous local and regional acts including The Unemployed, Plan B, Dee Evans, Saucey, The Groovebusters, and his longtime band The Sonic Tonic, which celebrated its 1,000th performance in 2018. His versatility extends to theater, where he’s contributed to productions like Grease, Evita, and Smokey Joe’s Café. Wayne has also written music for commercials and film, collaborating with local ad agencies and scoring for 81st St Productions.
